{الفكر القومي العربي} Egypt’s Imperative “Change” Project

Egypt's Imperative "Change" Project

Economic conditions in Egypt require that Egypt hits the ground running at the end of the transitional period. Structures, strategies and processes conceived in the past two centuries cannot and should not be used for the takeoff. The transitional period is dead time that is best used to carry out the "change" project and do "maintenance and renovation work" and to get the country ready for the re-launch. Short of that, the new "post-transition" government will have to waste precious time getting the structures and processes ready or continue to suffer from inherent inefficiencies!
