For Mr. Alsisi to pleasantly surprise us Egyptians first he must break ranks with the military heads. There are many capable Egyptians who are civilians well equipped with experience.Supposedly Alsisi is appointed as a civilian president therefore he must run a civilian like government.
The very serious challenge which is facing Mr. Alsisi is how to bring peace and security to Egypt. Bringing every Egyptian back to the fold under nation building
Mr. Alsisi must run a lawful and just country , one that is built on equal treatment, equal opportunity for all , a country that will build more hospitals, schools, roads , housings and manufactures not JAILS and Prisons.
Dealing with the economic challenges means not using band aids and subsidies or foreign infusions. Taking subsidies away from business and stopping companies that poison Egyptian land , water and air must be a priority.
Facing the River Nile challenges needs bravery, and honesty with the Egyptians . It is not only the Ethiopian dam issue, it is cleaning the water, restructuring the waste and sewerage , covering the stale canals, and being brave enough to remove any man made islands in the river even if it is for the military and removing any encroached buildings on the river and agriculture land.
Fixing all Egypt challenges from security to agriculture, economic, education, health, employment and more must be done immediately and dealt with in a revolutionary manner. Egyptians will not settle for less than Freedom, Bread and Social Justice. Now can Mr. Alsisi deliver all that in a very timely manner ?
The clock is ticking and you have already consumed most of your honey moon credit before you even became the official president. So Mr. President get to work and do it fast and efficient..
