The Alliance of Egyptians in North America (AENA) a non-profit Educational and Cultural Organization (501-c-3), is appalled and dismayed by the United States government response to the horrific atrocities taking place in the Holy Land.
News media report that the United States continues to block a United Nations Security Council Resolution calling for a cease fire backed by 14 of the 15 members of the Council. President Biden continues the tired slogan "Israel has the right to defend itself"
In "defending itself", Israel has demolished the offices of the Associated Press and Aljazeera, an attempt to conceal its war crimes. On Sunday, two prominent Palestinian physicians were among the casualties of Israeli bombing raids along with reports of damaged medical facilities. One was Ayman Abu al-Ouf, the head of coronavirus response at Gaza's largest hospital. The other Moein Ahmed Aloul, one of the few neurologists in the territory who died along with his five children.
AENA not only condemns in the strongest terms these atrocities and crimes, but also the weak and apologetic response of the United States government.
