I have been wrecking my brain trying to figure out the weak position the United States is taking regarding Dr. Morsy's deceleration of announcing himself a dictator to Egypt. The statements are appalling from a democratic country like the US , very weak , almost closing their eye on Dr. Morsy committing International and Human Rights violation which in my opinion should be tried in International Court.
One of the horrible statement was that the issue of the deceleration was an internal matter for Egypt to deal with, ignoring that human rights principals are international and not regional or internal.
At the beginning , I thought may be President Morsy received a wink and a smile as a reward to calm the situation between Hamas and Israel, as a thank you gift to Dr. Morsy, I even thought may be Dr. Morsy basically misread the smile given by Secretary Clinton just like Saddam Hussein misread The US Ambassador when she told him that the issue was regional between Kewit and Iraq.
But now I see that Dr. Morsy has been really embolden way way beyond a smile and a wink to a point that his representatives in the streets are threatening the Egyptians with a Holocaust in Tahreer Square . A Holocaust ? Seriously ? And the US still says it is an Internal Matter , and as a democratic country , it states that Dr. Morsy declared these steps to be temporary ! Are you kidding ?
Where did all that come from and why ?
I started to think and analyse deeper. This is just my thought. Could it be a treaty between Egypt and the US regarding the Palestinians and Israel ?
If we go back just a couple of weeks , some how Gaza and Israel got to shoot at each other., Finally Egypt does magic and matters calm and the fishermen go to the sea. That is wonderful , but what is the treaty and what is Egypt role exactly ? Were we only mediators or were we part of the deal ?
Could it be that we were part of the solution ? The Israelis have been asking that the people in Gaza should settle in Sinai , and that will solve their problem at least for now.Could it be that this was the treaty and part of it was the US silence on what Dr. Morsy and the Muslim brotherhood do for now ?
We all know that the Muslim Brotherhood survive on back dealing since their inception, we also know that US has a very clear policy of packing , supporting and protecting Israel at any cost. Also President Obama announced just few months ago that Egypt was neither an allay nor an enemy .
We the Egyptians demand from Dr.Morsy at this time to make public the treaty which he has signed with Israel ,the US and Hamas. It is our right and duty to demand to see this document and if Dr. Morsy and his government refuse to reveal it , make it public , then the attorney general must try President Morsy for treason.
