All of a sudden, the Muslim brotherhood are in Tahreer Square again asking for all Egyptians to come back, to unite , to stand together to save the great Egyptian Revolution ?
How arrogant is that? , and why did we not anticipate that Mr. Omar Suleiman, Mr. Amer Mussa , Mr. Ahmed Shafique and all the the beneficiary men of Mubarak Regime , why did we get surprised by these men grabbing the opportunity in an open field to take a shot at keeping their interest alive and protecting what they have gained over at least the past thirty years ?
Let us go through the simple facts that I have been repeating but it seems not many are paying attention. !
Since the Revolution I called on all Egyptians to unite and refuse SCAF's ruling, one to protect SCAF from themselves as we know for a fact that military can not rule, but we took the easy road and did not want to fight SCAF. SCAF found a great opportunity to protect their assets so they took it. Unfortunately SCAF did more than that, they protected the regime that they partnered with for the past sixty years. SCAF refused to bring all the criminals to court, did not stop all Egypt wealth from leaving the country, did not fight to bring any of Egypt wealth back to the country, up till now did not bring any of Mubarak regime to real trials, did not really pursue Mubarak and his family to trials for months and under pressure they pretended to try him and his sons. His wife and the daughters in law still enjoy all what they have while millions of Egyptians sleep without dinner.
SCAF got away with killing our own Egyptian children for the first time in Egypt history , they insulted , undressed and dragged our young ladies to the streets , something even the English and the french occupation, no actually the Israelies have yet to do ?
When we screamed where are the Muslim brotherhood ? Some of my best friends defended their absence , asking me to give them time to organize themselves ,What were the Muslim brotherhood excuses, oh, it was that winning seats in Magalas Elshab will give them the opportunity to go after SCAF and the corrupted regime ? Did they ?
After the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafeeies won their seats, oh that was not enough, just give them more opportunity so that they can win the presidency please! then may be just may be; they will do something ?
We asked to activate the revolutionary law which still is on the books from Nasser's time, to bring all the criminals who broke the law, who benefited illegally from Egypt, bring them to a swift trial , which would have prevented them not only from participating in the election , they would most likely have been in prison, but every one was too busy to stake his own benefit. Now Maglas Elshab is calling for preventing these people from participating in the presidential election, why now, because of the fear of competition ?
Why did n't any one do any thing about the murderers who killed our kids up till now ? Because that does not help with personal and political gains ?
Let us talk about the drafting of the Egyptian Constitution ! I saw Mr. Elktatny doing creative math to justify the way he and his colleagues decided to give themselves the privilege of writing our constitution as if it was their's and theirs alone .
Then Comes the liberal groups with hundreds of parties fighting each other to a weak point that they had no influence of what is happening in Egypt.
Tell me again , why should not Omar Suleiman, Ahmed Shafique, Amer Mussa run for the presidency of Egypt ?
If their running is going to help wake every one up to redirect the Egyptian Revolution to the way it should have gone a year ago, then I thank you Mr. Omer Suleiman and the like!
