Subject: We stand united in DC
We Egyptian Americans living in the Metropolitan area in Washington DC stand united in our position in demonstrating in front of the Egyptian Embassy on January 25th 2012.
We acknowledge the highest sacrifice which our country gave generously , the loss of our heroes young and old who were killed in Tahreer Square , Maspero and Alabasia and the thousands who have been injured , those who lost their eyes , their limbs and other parts of their body.
we recognize the great revolution of Egypt and the amazing youth who lead the revolution , we recognize the relentless efforts that have been done by all our sincere and selfless leaders of Egypt during last year since the revolution.
we believe that the revolution has yet to achieve it's goals that was set for." Bread ,freedom and Justice" we believe it will be achieved with continues efforts and persistence.
Justice will be achieved when accountability is recognized for the good, the bad and the ugly. Accountability for all the crimes committed before and after the revolution, whichl first must include cleansing of our judicial system.
Writing a fair and just constitution which will bring Egypt to be a great , free and democratic nation.
Justice will be served when all the families of the murdered heroes are fairly compensated for their loss,, when Egypt is ruled by civilian government, when the ousted president, his family and his cronies are tried fairly, and Egypt wealth is returned to Egypt.
When we see a real economic plan with real solution, when all the media has been cleansed .
When we feel that our revolution is on the right track and not just the illusion of the process , then we Egyptian Americans will be the first to celebrate in our homes and the streets in and out of Egypt.
Egyptian People have broken the biggest obstacle, the fear of the worst iron clad ruling family, and they have done it peacefully which brought pride to Egypt and the Egyptians, with that same pride we are determined to succeed and achieve the great goals of 25th January Egyptian Revolution
Sincerely, samia Harris. Democracy for Egypt
